Introduzione

The paper discusses the results obtained during the survey carried out in 2006 within the territorial basin surrounding the archaeological site of Tornambè, located approximately 5 km southwest of Pietraperzia. In the survey, all the areas surrounding the site were extensively investigated for a total surface area of roughly 10 square km, identifying over 20 settlements attributable to a long period ranging be- tween the end of the Neolithic to the early Middle Ages (4th millennium BC-1st millennium AD). The 2006 survey framed archaeologically the territorial context surrounding the site of Tornambè, which was investigated between 2007 and 2013. In the survey, we identified several settlements, signalled by areas of sherd concentration, and numerous funerary evidence dating from late prehistory to the Greek-Roman age, together with structures and artefacts from the post-medieval and modern age.
